A new movie (actually, the movie was released two years ago) that I watched recently was called Knocked Up. Don't know if you people have watched or even heard of this movie at all, so... I'm here to review it for you all.
This comedy is roughly about a guy named Ben who "knocks up"(get what I mean) a girl, Alison after meeting her for the first time at a club. Later, they discover that Ben didn't use condoms during their adventure and Alison ends up getting pregnant with Ben's kid. Alison and Ben attempt to build a relationship for their unborn child while producing hilarious moments in the process.Okay, maybe this movie is a little less funny than The Hangover, but it's still quite funny anyway. It's funny to think how a hot girl would end up having the kid of a jobless guy who runs something like a porn site and does nothing during his free time except fooling around with his roommates and smoking pot. But, funny as it is, at the end there are some touching moments, especially the part where Ben tries to turn over a new leaf and try to work as hard as he can to become a good dad. I also recommend this movie if you haven't watched it and give it a 4.5/5 rating.
However, this R-rated comedy makes The Hangover looks like it is suitable for young kids. The guy who plays Ben (Seth Rogen) is an F-bomber, bombing swear words every minute or so. In the movie, it seems that only the kids never uttered a swear word (a little girl in the film does make some references to violent stuff, example Googling "murder"). There are also two sex scenes in the movie, although they look extremely fake, they are enough for you to get in trouble should you watch the movie in front of your parents. Also, there are also some drug usage in the movie, so this movie is definitely not for the eyes of any parent! Haha.
Full details of the movie available here.
P.S I'm so glad to see that you (Howe, Bernard) are spreading the movie The Hangover like the H1N1 virus and that you find it hilarious too. Keep infecting others!
P.P.S That's why, stay tuned to my blog for the best movie reviews and recommendations!
