The ticket cost only RM 5, cheaper than the original price of RM 9. Pity me, having to watch the movie alone (this was already the fifth time I watched a movie alone, other four movies were: Transformers 1 & 2, Iron Man, and that horrible prehistoric movie 10,000 BC). Suddenly, I saw Michael Jackson's spirit at the ticketing booth and he sang to me: "You are not alone... I am here with you...", giving me the creeps. After he sang these two lines he vanished (okay I made that up just to give you a LoL).I didn't enjoy the condition in the cinema. I changed seats a few times before the movie started because the first time there was a bunch of loud, "kurang ajar" kids sitting in front of me and they talked quite loudly (even wooing when they saw The Baroness's or Scarlett's cleavage on screen). So I moved two rows up from them and when I thought I could kick back and relax, suddenly three fat girls sat NEXT TO ME!!! WHAT HAVE I DONE TO DESERVE THIS?! So I moved one seat inwards, free from the sounds they make when they chat or chomp on keropok (no wonder all so fat). I saw a couple of trailers, and I decided to catch the movie "District 9" when I get the time on DVD.
So now I'm giving a recap of the movie. Like the Transformers 2 movie, it was packed with action, things being blasted here and there, just the way I like it. It could have done a little better on storyline, anyway but it's just fun to watch the action sequnces. It was also nice to see some sexy babes in the movie such as Scarlett (played by Rachel Nichols) and The Baroness (played by Sienna Miller, hey I thought that she only acts in romantic films such as "Casanova"? But her transformation from good girl to bad, sexy bitch was so hot. LoL). The scene I liked the most was with the Delta Six Accelerator Suits and the chase in Paris. Those suits look damn good, although Howe and Bernard clamied it has similarities with the Nanosuits from "Crysis". I also felt that the nanobots in the warheads that could eat through metal were quite similar to the nanites from the movie, if any of you watched it, "The Day the Earth Stood Still" from last year. How strange... Anyways, this movie is a fun one to watch, although I would not call it extremely awsome when compared to classics (according to me) like Iron Man. Overall, I give this film a 4.5 score out of 5.
So, after the movie I headed on to McD, had a Quarter Pounder burger and Coke, and that was pretty much my day.
Hungry?P.S. Rumors are going round that a sequel will be developed soon. Better cross your fingers and hope for the best.
