I'll be starting first with my mid-semester examination. This was the first ever exam I took since my SPM, and God knows how rusty I was. For KTT, scoring for internal exams isn't really that hard, provided you spend lots of time flipping through past year papers for each subject since most of the questions are set from past year papers. Problem is I just don't have the motivation to do that and I wound up scoring below my target of 70 marks for Chemistry and Physics (low marks for both are quite expected as I went out with my housemates for a buffet steamboat dinner the night before Chemistry and ended online-ing most of the time while I was supposed to do revisions for Physics, haha), with my Biology scoring a surprising 79 marks.
Since I decided to drop Maths, I had loads of free time during the following weekend. On Saturday, I went to Midvalley via KTM to meet up with Kangkong, LYL, and my long-time-no-see big sized black homie, Apui! Had lunch at Carl's Jr. minus Apui (Carl's Jr is a must try for everyone who's in KL), watched Step Up 3D and had dinner at Dragon-i, savouring all the porky dishes you will never find in any campus cafeteria. Plus we discovered our inner childs when we fooled around in guess where, out of all places, Toys R'Us! I had a wonderful time with three of them, though I'm sad to say that LYL won't be around in KL until next year as he decided to quit his A-Levels at UTAR but instead take up music course next year.
Few pics of us having fun:
3D freaks. Hahaha

Big boss and IOn the next Monday, I accepted Ee Mei's invitation to go to Times Square. Went with 20 over college students, though as soon as I reached there I "escaped" to Pavilion straight away, by my own, cause frankly I find Times Square to be a very boring place. Had lunch in Tomy Roma's (kinda regretted ordering the chicken dish) till I was super stuffed. Walked around and did little shopping, and had dinner at Wong Kok Char Chan Teng with a bunch of other college students I happened to bump into which consisted of Kit Mun, Hui Ling, Wei Xiong and Lynton.
My lunch. Damn big portion. Then came the day. The day every KTT-ian was looking forward to the very first week they set foot in the jungle. The day where everyone went home! Me and the others all boarded the college bus to LCCT at 4.30 pm, to prepare for my flight which was at 7.00 pm. Had dinner at McD with Ying, Fei and Mei. On board, experienced some turbulence which scared some girls but thank God I managed to reach Sibu safely. On landing, I saw faces which I haven't saw for months, those of my parents and especially my sister! That was only the beginning of a Raya break in which I:
1. Got my leg ran over by a car. Careless dad. But no harm done, thank God.
Evidence I survived being ran over by a car! Haha2. Went for Raya visitations to various houses, namely houses of my dad's colleagues and Haziq's house with Apui and Hilton.

3. Numerous gatherings with friends (or should I say, bros and sis) from Peh family. We went for karaoke at The Terminal for Osama's birthday, my first time going for karaoke BTW, and dinner at Cafe Cafe the following night.

4. Hanging out with my sis! We went to so so many places to eat eat eat! Glad to say that she's gonna be continuing her studies in Melaka next year, which means we can hang out even in West Malaysia every once in a while! Haha.

5. Went back to the gym after a long absence. Feels good to go hard in the gym, pumping and lifting, and experiencing the soreness and growth in your biceps and pecs, a sensation sadly I will never experience in KL. And of course how could I miss out on playing basketball? Though I never managed to play in a pickup game with any of my friends, it still was fun shooting whole evening long in my front yard, watching myself progress from shooting bricks to nothing-but-net-most-of-the-time. Haha
Then sadly on the night of the 19th of September, I returned to KTT, leaving all the good Sibu food, friends and fun activities behind.
Not to despair for long though, as the very next Friday I once again accepted Ee Mei's invitiation to go to Midvalley, together with Ying and Tsin. They wanted to watch Step Up 3D while I originally wanted to meet my sister there, but she couldn't make it due to delay back in Sibu airport. We had lunch at Chili's together with Eric and I went round window shopping and dined at Paddington's House of Pancakes while they were watching the movie.
Two heartbreakers in the pic. Spot em'. Haha. Then yesterday, the four of us plus Ying's housemate, Jia Hui went to 1 Utama. Took us hours to get there due to the traffic jam. Didn't help when we got scammed out of our asses by that SOB driver, a different driver from the usual Adikme driver. I regretted for not going to the bottom of this matter back then but it also served as a valuable and painful lesson, at the expense of our money *sobs*. So we met up with Alan, who was studying in Taylor's Sri Hartamas and we went for lunch at Italiannies. The portions served were damn big and it didn't help that Italian food is loaded with vomit-inducing cheese and tomatoes. True enough my meal came up the front end and into the toilet. A RM 45 meal went down the loo just like that. Pity. Hahaha.
Our grand feast at ItalianniesAfter lunch the girls and I went our separate ways for a while for some shopping. We eventually went back by bus to KL Sentral and KTM to Nilai. Tired but had quite a good day, except the scam part... ==
Think that's about it regarding what's been happening lately in my life. Til next time then. :)
heartbreakers HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
