The story centers around mythical Greek hero Perseus (if you think he looks familiar, he's the same guy from Avatar), whose adoptive family was killed by the god of the underworld, Hades. Wanting to seek revenge, he finds himself caught in a battle between man and the gods. Perseus then learns of his true destiny and embarks on a journey with a group of brave men in order to stop an all-out destruction of man.I think that this film is the best film of the year so far. I've always been fascinated with films related to ancient mythology, plus the special effects are really awesome, especially the design of the Kraken, the monster in the poster (this kraken could kick the ass of the other kraken from the Pirates series anyday). Unlike the other Greek mythology film called Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, this film does not scream CHILDISH!! Speaking of which, you will find some similarities between these two movies, such as the Greek gods, the demigod concept, and that ugly snake-haired bitch called Medusa. I also believe that this film is much better than Avatar or Alice in Wonderland, 'cause it's packed with more action instead of some silly environmental themes or insane fantasies and it's much shorter too, as most films that are around two and half hours will bore me.
So, rating for this film is 4.5/5. Don't you dare miss this film.
Now, I'm just waiting for the release of that other film... Er what's it called? Yeah, Iron Man 2!!!
