Detectives, Vampires, and a Demonic Chick

This post is a 3-in-1 movie review. All three movies were downloaded using Graboid Video software, which is a really nice video downloading software with nice speed, but it turns out you can only download around 4GB of videos for free. Now I'm forced to use my BitComet which has lousy speed (can someone help me on how to increase the speed?).

First movie, is a movie based on the famous detective, Sherlock Holmes.

In this movie, Holmes investigates a series of murders and crimes, apparently connected to occult rituals, controlled by the main villain, Lord Blackwood, who appears to possess supernatural powers.

This film is the second best movie of last year's holiday season, behind of course, the movie about blue aliens (whats the name?). The movie is packed with action and humor, all due to the situations Holmes and Watson get themselves into. Holmes' bro-mance with Watson is worth mentioning and Holmes is a really smart, analytical and observant character, just like the main character from the series Psych. Most likely, a sequel will be made, featuring the mysterious Professor Moriarty as the main villain. I'd give this movie a 4/5 rating, could've done better if there were some subtitles.

Next up, a vampire film that has nothing to do with romance, is Daybreakers.
The film takes place in 2019, where most of the world's population are vampires and remaining humans are farmed to provide food. One of the vampires, Edward (same name like the Twilight guy huh?) , still has a sense of humanity left in him and is trying to find a cure to his condition. When a group of humans approach him with the solution, Edward must cure himself and try to spread the cure, all while avoiding capture by other vampires.

This movie will make you jump in fright a few times, but it's only a movie that's good enough to watch if you have spare time on your hands, just like me. Some swearing and bloody scenes included, especially near the end of the film. Rating: 3/5

Last but not least, a movie that stars the hot hot hot hot hot Megan Fox!!! I'm talking about Jennifer's Body.
This movie is about a really really hot babe that turns into a flesh-eating demon after a sacrificial ritual goes wrong. Throughout the movie, she eats and eats and eats, and that's pretty much it.

This movie can be quite stupid for some of you, however I find it quite enjoyable to watch, especially with Megan Fox in it (woooooo). Warning: violence, blood, swearing, little sexual action and a really hot lesbian kiss is what you'll find in the movie. Boys may get turned on though. Rating: 4/5

Speaking of Megan Fox, did you know there are half nude pictures of her on Facebook? 0.0
